About Us
Three Sixty Snap is all about helping our clients immerse their customers into their business – whether that’s a real estate listing, a cottage they are renting out, a condo they manage, an office under construction, or a retail store front. We accomplish this through Immersive Media including photos, videos, 3D Virtual Tours with Floor Plans, aerial photos and videos, and complete websites.
360o Tours & Floor Plans
Access to property information benefits everyone. Faster decision making, better planning, and easier navigation are the results. iGUIDE 3D tours include floor plans, 360° images, room dimensions, photos, and more to make this happen. We use the iGUIDE 3D tour camera to capture data which is then processed by the iGUIDE Drafting Team to create iGUIDEs that are shared and experienced online.
HDR Photography
High Dynamic Range photography involves taking multiple exposures of the same image and blending them together to deliver details in the brightest parts of the photo as well as the darkest parts.
We do 5-stop exposures, then digitally align them, and blend them into an HDR output. The merged photo is then white and colour balanced to provide a natural look and feel to the image. Finally the photo is corrected for lens distortion.
We use a Canon 5D Mark iii camera body and typically a Canon 17mm-40mm USM Wide Angle lens for photography.
Videography
We produce walk-through videos of the properties we shoot, using a Canon 6D Mark ii and a Weebill S gimbal or the newest iPhone 14 Pro Max with a DJI Osmo 5 gimbal. Videos are edited, mixed with music and graphics and even some HDR images can be used to enhance the two-minute videos we produce.
Aerial Photography and Video
Nothing else can immerse you into your subject matter quite like a drone can. And for our aerial photography we chose the DJI Mavic 3 Pro Cine as our go-to drone.
Owner/Operator Tom Aikins
Tom Aikins has been a photographer for over forty years. His work has been on the cover of On The Go magazine, on display at McLaren Art Centre, and used on numerous websites and in printed materials. For the most part though, his work has been private and mostly hidden.
During those forty years he spent 18 years in local radio at CKBB, CHAY-FM and B101FM. He spent 20 years in the Charitable Gaming industry, first as administrator for the charities in Barrie, and then as the Operations Manager for Boardwalk Gaming and Delta Bingo. Under his leadership over $30M was raised for local charities.
In addition, Tom also manages one of the largest outdoor arts and crafts festivals in Ontario – Barrie’s Kempenfest. After retiring from bingo and Kempenfest, Tom turned his passion for photography into a full time job when he launched Three Sixty Snap.
